Ivory Chess Set probably by Richard Whitty, late 19th century

According to conventional wisdom, which in my opinion is backed up by enough evidence, Richard Whitty of Liverpool manufactured extraordinary Staunton sets in the latter part of the 19th century. This set has the classic Whitty knights and concentric circles under the bases. 4" Kings.
