A very interesting bone chess set that came with an old handwritten note, in Dutch, indicating that the manufacturer was Xavier Fader circa 1820. I need to do some research to try to track down this person.

The set has characteristics that are reminiscent of different styles and countries, such as Selenus style (King and Queen), Italian (Bishops), and Spanish (Knight-heads). King size 3 in.
