Swiss Ivory and Bone Miniature Chess Set and Board

19th century Swiss carved and turned ivory and bone small chess board-box, the lid of the box with a decorated penwork black and natural chessboard; friezes with typical Swiss carved and pierced decorative panels on all sides. The decorative panels are very similar to early 19th century Swiss miniature furniture and Alpine chalet models, produced around 1840. Casket 15 x 15 x 4 cm, King size 6.5 cm.
