A Charles Hastilow style set with exquisite carving, especially the Knights. Mid 19th century.

It is unclear who the manufacturer actually was, because Charles Hastilow did not stamp or mark his sets. I know of only one set that is fully attributed to Charles Hastilow -- a large Barleycorn set elsewhere in my collection, which was acquired from the Hastilow family.
