Mughal Decorative Ivory Set, 18th Century

18th century, possibly early 18th century, Indian late Mughal style ivory chess set, the red and green stained cylindrical shaped ivory playing men with fine painted coloured motifs to their tops to donate the different chessmen.
The kings with gilt painted covered throned Maharajahs, the queens with a flower, bishops with flagged camels, knights with prancing horses, rooks with elephants and pawns with Indian swords.
King 1.25 inches ( 3 cm.) high. Top diameter 1inch (2.5 cm.)
